We have Launched our COVID-19 Mobile Laboratory in Kano state

We have partnered with Aliko Dangote Foundation to roll out testing for COVID-19 urgently in Kano. In the space of seven days, we have launched the first of two mobile laboratories in the state to facilitate testing and contain the spread of infection.

This launch follows the pilot of our COVID-19 mobile laboratory last week in Ogun state and is part of a wider aim to increase testing across states. We created the mobile lab to support the Federal Government’s efforts in increasing testing capacity in Nigeria; this solution will enhance the country’s capabilities to fight Covid-19 in as many states as possible, rapidly and safely.

Since receiving approval to join the list of the NCDC’s accredited testing centres, we have launched testing services in Lagos, Ogun and now, Kano states. It is our belief that in order to contain the spread of COVID-19, it is essential for us to know who has the disease, so we can put in place effective measures around quarantining confirmed cases.

We extend our gratitude to the Kano state government and Aliko Dangote Foundation for their support in making this a reality.
